[debian-knoppix] Armada E500 mousepad problems in X
Hello all,
I've been playing around with Knoppix on my new (to me) Compaq Armada E500.
I'm
having problems getting the mousepad to work with XFree. It's PS/2
compatible and it
works fine with Knoppix V3.1-2003-01-20. I don't get any response from
V3.2-2003-05-03
or V3.2-2003-06-06. I've tried the "knoppix pci=irqmask=0x0e98" suggestion
in the
cheatcodes file, and gpm works just fine with it when I boot in to runlevel
2.
"cat /dev/psaux" produces junk when I use the mousepad, but it doesn't seem
to make
it all the way to the X server.
Any ideas for other things to try or what might be wrong?
