[debian-knoppix] Boot problems w/ Adaptec AIC-7892
When trying to use Knoppix 3.2 on a PC with Adaptec AIC-7892 SCSI, the system
gets stuck during probing scsi.
The same happens when after booting with option "noscsi" I insert the module
aic7xxx with modconf. The following solution turned out to be successful:
Boot with "noscsi" and insert the module aic7xxx_old with modprobe.
Has anyone got the same problem and is there an explanation?
