[debian-knoppix] trying to get D-Link DWL650 running
Hi,
so far I had no success in making my WLAN card work. It is a D-Link DWL650
(prism2). Everything works fine, except configuring the parameters. The tool
called by the script, iwconfig mutters about the wrong version of
drivers/tools ("Warning: Driver for device wlan0 has been compiled with
version 14 of Wireless Extension, while this program is using version 15.
Some things may be broken..."). Is there anything I am missing or doing
wrong or is just an error in Knoppix? I tried versions from 2003-01-01 and
2003-01-20
