Probier mal mit
knoppix nosmp noapic mca-pentium

Ja, das wäre durchaus interessant.
Vielleicht kann auch einfach dein CD-Rom keine SCSI-Emulation?
Dann hilft nur, alle hd*=scsi zu entfernen.
