[debian-knoppix] LyX und xforms1/LGPL?
Hallo allerseits,
sieht so aus, als könnten wir demnächst doch früher LyX aufnehmen. Wobei es
etwas schwierig werden wird, Platz dafür freizuschaufeln. Die QT-Version
wäre mir eigentlich lieber gewesen, muss ich ehrlich sagen.

XForms is now LGPL; the LGPL version has not yet made its way into
unstable (due to the whole Woody debacle), but the maintainer has made
unofficial debs of it at http://people.debian.org/~psg/xforms/. More can
be found at

To my knowledge, however, the LyX maintainer has not made an unofficial
package of 1.2.0 that requires libxforms1.00, but there's a deb of LyX
1.2.0 that depends upon xforms 0.89 at
http://linfe.it/OpenLab/Software/DebianPackages/unstable/contrib/ that
could probably be repackaged. Hopefully, however, we'll see these
updates make their way into unstable soon.
