Hello, Would it be possible to quickly discuss about the proposal for maintaining firmware-nonfree in old releases, by including kernel-tied source packages, as suggested in: https://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2025/10/msg00323.html ? My questions for the meeting would be: - Does the kernel team think that having a firmware-nonfree source package per kernel version available makes sense? - If yes, since Ben is maintaining a linux backport for LTS, should the hypothetical firmware-nonfree-6.1 source package maintained under the kernel team umbrella?
