Bug#1119232: drm/amd/display: Freesync Video Mode is not disabled by default
Package: linux-image-6.1.0-39-amd64
Version: 6.1.148-1
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: kpietrzak@disroot.org
Dear Maintainer,
In Debian kernel linux-image-6.1.0-12-amd64 (6.1.52-1) Freesync Video Mode was not enabled by default.
It is enabled by default since version 6.1.55-1. Debian kernel packages newer than linux-image-6.1.0-12-amd64 have Freesync Video Mode enabled by default.
The problem is that finally Freesync Video Mode enabled by default was removed from the mainline in https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/3c591faadd8a94f68110e090bc294b1a338143b8 and in Debian kernel linux-image-6.1.0-39-amd64 (6.1.148-1) it is still enabled by default and causes various problems.
