Hi,
After some trying today...I did not get it to work with 6.17.5.
First of all, I saw the driver is still marked as staging in the kernel.
Besides that I did not manage to get it to work. Hardware is still recognized as IPU6 with same errors in logs.
I did install the firmware / user space things which can be found on the github page of the driver, but without any change.
After some research, found similar reports in other forums of people which did not get there webcam to work on Arrow Lake laptops even with this driver.
Probably things are not ready yet or maybe I still do something wrong.
I will keep an eye on it for future kernel versions if something changes and make a new report if things change.
If you or anyone else still want me to try something or want more info, let me know.
This bug report can be closed I think without further action.
