Hi Chris,

Thanks for the details :) It looks like there might be a regression 
related to a conflict between amdgpu and astdrmfb. It would also be 
helpful to check the contents of your initramfs.

Could you please provide a boot log captured without the "quiet" 
parameter, along with the output of systemctl --failed and systemctl 
is-system-running to see if any units failed or are still starting? and 
the contents of initramfs using lsinitrd? This will help us to figure 
out whether the system is running properly.
