Package: src:linux
Version: 6.12.38-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Intel B580 fails to probe on newly installed Debian Trixie:
(I do not see the line in dmesg capture from reportbug below, hence
adding here)
--
[ 1.249757] xe 0000:04:00.0: probe with driver xe failed with error -110
--
The regression does not affect Intel 1st gen Arc Gpu (e.g. on Core Ultra
285k). The B580 regression did not exist on debian/6.12.33, the problem also goes away
with manually built debian/6.12/trixie branch containing upstream stable 6.12.41.

So it seems to be a brief regression in upstream 6.12, which will hopefully go away with Debian next point kernel release.
I could not find the regression, hence decided to report this as a bug.

Many thanks!
Piotr
