Bug#1110875: [SOLVED] linux-image-6.12.38+deb13-amd64 - webcam not usable because locked through kernel module

Dear maintainers,

I discovered, this is no a bug of the kernel. Investigations  revealed, that 
the package "motion" is activating the camera by default and is so blocking 
the camera for other applications. 

This was really hard to find and I dicovered it just by chance.

Maybe for the future I will find a way, to find out, to which application a 
kernel module is bound (if that is possible at all),

For now, this bugreport can safely be closed.
