Package: general Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: yves.queyrat@gmail.com Dear maintainer, By default with Debian 12 Bookworm, the file named "/etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf" contains a lot of settings, but they are all disabled. It coult be interesting to add and activate the following setting by default : vm.max_map_count=2147483642 This option is already set by default with other Linux distributions like Fedora. It is useful to optimize performances for gaming. This setting increases memory allocated to the game. I hope this suggestion will be useful. Thanks in advance. Yves
