Package: src:linux Version: 6.12.32-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: livix07@riseup.net Dear Maintainer, I have Debian Trixie on my laptop and the disk is encrypted, not the /boot/efi partition. I have been using kernel 6.12.30 for a while without any problem. There is a new kernel version available, 6.12.32. When I try to boot using this kernel I can see this on the screen: mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising MMC card amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: failed to load ucode RLC_RESTORE_LIST_CMTL(0x29) amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: psp gfx command LOAD_IP_PW(0x6) failed and response status is (0xFFFF300F) ... cryptsetup waiting for encrypted source device UUID=9c16003c-e1b9-4a25-bc5c-74fcbb278fe7... mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found cryptsetup waiting for encrypted source device UUID=9c16003c-e1b9-4a25-bc5c-74fcbb278fe7... mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found I don't have any RAID on my laptop. Adding debug break=mount to GRUB dropped me to a initramfs console where I ran the following commands: ls /dev and output was "no such file or directory" ls /dev/mmc* and output was "no such file or directory ls /dev/disk/by-uuid and output was "no such file or directory *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- Package-specific info: ** Kernel log: boot messages should be attached ** Model information sys_vendor: HP product_name: HP Laptop 14s-fq0xxx product_version: chassis_vendor: HP chassis_version: Chassis Version bios_vendor: AMI bios_version: F.67 board_vendor: HP board_name: 87B7 board_version: 28.21 ** Configuration for modprobe: blacklist microcode blacklist arkfb blacklist aty128fb blacklist atyfb blacklist radeonfb blacklist cirrusfb blacklist cyber2000fb blacklist kyrofb blacklist matroxfb_base blacklist mb862xxfb blacklist neofb blacklist pm2fb blacklist pm3fb blacklist s3fb blacklist savagefb blacklist sisfb blacklist tdfxfb blacklist tridentfb blacklist vt8623fb blacklist microcode options snd_pcsp index=-2 options cx88_alsa index=-2 options snd_atiixp_modem index=-2 options snd_intel8x0m index=-2 options snd_via82xx_modem index=-2 options md_mod start_ro=1 options bonding max_bonds=0 options dummy numdummies=0 options ifb numifbs=0 ** PCI devices: 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
