Dear Maintainer,

`man kernel-img.conf` has lines such as "ignored since v12.001".

It is not immediately clear what package that version number refers to.
Likely the old https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/kernel-package that is
gone from debian.

Ideally the manpage would be revised to remove all the long-obsolete
information to make it less confusing.
