Bug#1105978: Hardware issues on HP 255 G7 (ACPI error, missing amdgpu firmware, battery sensor) in Debian 12.10

Package: linux-image-amd64
Dear Debian Team,

I hope you're doing well.

I'm writing to report several hardware-related issues that I’ve encountered while using Debian 12.10 on my laptop. The device is an **HP 255 G7** with an **AMD Ryzen 5 3500U** processor and **integrated Vega 8 GPU**.

I have tested more than **40 different Linux distributions** on this machine, and Debian stands out as the most stable and reliable. However, I continue to face the following problems that I hope the Debian team can help address:

1. **ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND**
During every boot, the following message appears in the logs:
   `ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND`
This error affects power management, fan control, and sometimes suspend/resume functionality. It seems to indicate incompatibility between the BIOS/firmware and the kernel’s ACPI implementation.

2. **Missing AMDGPU Firmware**
System logs show that some **amdgpu firmware files** are missing for the integrated Vega 8 GPU. This leads to **lower graphics performance** and occasional glitches, especially during graphical sessions or video playback.

3. **Battery Sensor Not Detected in `lm-sensors`**
When using `lm-sensors`, the battery information such as **temperature, charge level, and power usage** is not detected. This makes it difficult to monitor the battery's condition and energy consumption, which works on some other distributions.

These issues are consistent even after updating to newer kernels on Debian 12.10.

I would truly appreciate if you could look into these issues or provide guidance. I am happy to share **`dmesg`**, **`acpidump`**, **`lspci`**, or any other diagnostic logs that could assist with troubleshooting.

Thank you for your great work and commitment to the Debian project. Despite these challenges, Debian remains my preferred operating system, and I look forward to improved hardware support in future releases.

Best regards,
**Haider**
