Bug#1088826: /usr/share/bug/linux-image-686-pae/presubj: Fails to boot after 6.1.0-22

Hi Salvatore

Thank you for looking into this.
It seems to have been solved in 6.1.0-30

It would be stuck on a black screen with a blinking underscore after grub.

Feel free to mark solved.

Best regards

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

Currently using:
Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N450   @ 1.66GHz

All updates after this one fail to boot.
There are no error messages, just a blinking underscore sign in a black screen.

Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks for yoru report.

Can you confirm if 6.1.128-1 the most current version for stable
exposes the problem as well?

I assume you have the quiet option on the kernel-command line, can you
boot without it, do you have more infomrmation on the screen showing
up from the hang?

Is the screen just black and you are seen blinking underscores but is
system accessible remotely via SSH? Do you have propriertary drivers
loaded for the GPU?

Regards,
Salvatore
