Bug#1014299: Closing this bug (BTS maintenance for src:linux bugs)
Control: reopen -1
Control: found -1 6.12.12-1
This bug still exists in testing, tested using the latest
debian-live-testing-amd64-xfce.iso (linux-image-amd64 6.12.12-1).
As before, running this command:
pasuspender -- aplay -D plughw:CARD=broadwellrt286,DEV=0 \
/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Left.wav
- Fails when booted normally.
- Works when "intel_iommu=off" is specified on kernel command line.
When it fails, these messages appear in dmesg:
intel_catpt INT3438:00: DesignWare DMA Controller, 8 channels
intel_catpt INT3438:00: firmware ready timeout
intel_catpt INT3438:00: boot firmware failed: -110
intel_catpt INT3438:00: ASoC: error at snd_soc_pcm_component_pm_runtime_get on catpt-platform: -22
Thank you for your work maintaining Debian!
Benjamin
