Package: ACPI BIOS
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
From: k345j@yahoo.ca
Subject: ACPI error
After upgrading Debian from version 11.3 and kernel 5.16 to Debian 11.4 and kernel 5.18, the following error messages occur several times in a row on boot:
kernel: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_PR.CPU0._CPC], AE_NOT_FOUND (20211217/psargs-330)
kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting method \_PR.CPU1._CPC due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20211217/psparse-529)
These errors were not previously there. After a pause, the boot proceeds normally.

Hi
This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.
If you can reproduce it with
- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports
please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.
Regards,
Salvatore
