Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
     Upgrading to kernel 5.16.7-2
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
     apt -u dist-upgrade
   * What was the outcome of this action?
Kernel reports IPMI error in journalctl, message repeated very often and
floods the log file
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
     No error message from kernel

in the current Debian/testing, my system (A HP ProLiant ML110 G6) reports this
error in jounalctl:

The message is repeated VERY often and floods the log file!

I would be very gladful for a fix.

Thank you in advance.
