Package: linux-image-4.9.0-16-amd64I recently installed the 4.9.0-16 kernel via apt-get dist-upgrade without any problem.Since then my system crashed randomly 3 times. 2-times prior to graphical login, 1 time shortly after login. Each time I got a stack trace on the console, I believe they were differnt each time. Then I switched back to 4.9.0-15, which runs perfectly stable. My system is a HP 635 laptop./proc/cpu (just for one kernel):processor : 1

Hi This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself without resolution. If you can reproduce it with - the current version in unstable/testing - the latest kernel from backports please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control for details. Regards, Salvatore
