Package: kernelVersion: Linux debian 4.19.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.67-2+deb10u2 (2019-11-11) x86_64 GNU/LinuxI'm having the same problem on 2 different computers when I install Debian 10. The problem is that the system is not detecting any wifi hardware. I have downloaded the correct firmware files (firmware-b43-installer and firmware-iwlwifi) and they are located in the /lib/firmware directory. When I run command 'ip link show' it does not detect any wifi hardware and only shows lo and enp9s0(ethernet) . When I use various network managers like connman and wicd they are not detecting any wifi hardware. I ran a dmesg command and it says it cannot load the firmware and indicates it is missing but everything appears to be installed correctly. Here is the terminal output for dmesg:9.161602] b43-phy0: Broadcom 4312 WLAN found (core revision 15)[ 9.207735] b43-phy0: Found PHY: Analog 6, Type 5 (LP), Revision 1[ 9.207750] b43-phy0: Found Radio: Manuf 0x17F, ID 0x2062, Revision 2, Version 0[ 9.224592] Broadcom 43xx driver loaded [ Features: PNLS ][ 9.227035] Adding 2685948k swap on /dev/sdb5. Hi This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself without resolution. If you can reproduce it with - the current version in unstable/testing - the latest kernel from backports please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control for details. Regards, Salvatore
