Dear Maintainer,


When I shutdown or restart my latop it freezes.

This same problem was reported in bug #939606 with a comment identifing the
commit that fixes the problem on my latop.

All recent kernel package releases have the same problem.

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports
