linux-image-6.5.0-5-amd64: 474 MB; linux-image-6.6.13-amd64: 99.4 MB. Why? And should I care?

Hello, kernel maintainers.

I see in aptitude that the size of the linux-image package is being
reduced by almost 80%. I have searched kernel logs (both upstream and
Debian packaging) but could not find an explanation. Does this imply
that many kernel modules have disappeared? I don't see ant new packages
to contain these modules, though. So: what happened, and should I care?

Thanks a lot for your time
