Does adding "sysrq_always_enabled" to the kernel cmdline also already mask the issue? If not: Can you press Alt+PRT+t while it hangs and provide the output? (This is probably easiest by continuing the boot using the above mentioned key pressing and then extract it from dmesg or the journal.) The PRT key might be labeled "PRT", "PrtSc" or maybe even "SysRq". Best regards Uwe
