Meanwhile, I've built a kernel from version 6.1.112 (matches
6.1.0-26 if I get things right) with the commit reverted. 6.1.112
itself has the sound problem, like 6.1.0-26, which is no surprise.
The kernel from 6.1.112 with commit 92afcc310038ebe5d66c689bb0bf418f5451201c reverted plays sound correctly over HDMI, so I'll do this as a workaround until the reverting patch reaches stable.
