Bug#1079183: linux-image-amd64: Bluetooth is disabled

Package: linux-image-amd64
Version: 6.10.4-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: shadowstrawberries@protonmail.ch

Dear Maintainer,

Bluetooth appears to be disabled after upgrade to 6.10.4. Issues seems to affect kernels 6.10.3., 6.9.12, 6.9.10, and 6.9.9.

Installing 6.9.7 resolved issue.

On 6.10.4, `sudo dmesg | grep -E "Blue|bluetooth"` returned

    [ 3.159987] Bluetooth: Core ver 2.22
[ 3.160000] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized

On 6.9.7, `sudo dmesg | grep -E "Blue|bluetooth"` returns

I did not run dmesg on intermediate kernels, although during boot noted the same lines

   hci0: command 0xfc05 tx timeout
hci0: Reading Intel version command failed (-110)

Or something to that effect.

Prior to installing an older version of the kernel, I attemped to see if the problem was a result of the Bluetooth services.

I attempted:

1. Checking status with `sudo systemctl status bluetooth`, resulted in:

    Bluetooth.service - Bluetooth service
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service; enabled; preset: enabled)

2. Running `sudo bluetoothctl` resulting in:

Waiting to connect to bluetoothd...[bluetooth]# Agent registered
    [bluetooth]# power on
    No default controller available

3. `inxi -E`, resulting in:

    Bluetooth:
Device-1: Intel AX200 Bluetooth driver: btusb type: USB
Report: hciconfig ID: hci0 rfk-id: 0 state: down
        bt-service: enabled,running rfk-block: hardware: no software: no
        address: 00:00:00:00:00:00

I remember successfully listening to audio over Bluetooth on 17/08/24, and I am almost certain that I updated my kernel prior to that, so I assume that there is some interaction effect in installed packages, but I am unsure how to isolate. Again, it does resolve when booted with 6.9.7.
