Dear Maintainer,
this is a debian testing machine. After today upgrade and reboot, the machine does not start anymore.
In fact it stop with message:

The /usr filesystem on /dev/mapper/ssd-usr requires a manual fsck

I rebooted with a live CD, fsck'd the file system and rebooted again. Same error.
I then rebooted without the "quiet" kernel argument and got some more details:

Begin: Mounting /usr file system ... Begin: Will now check /usr file system ... fsck from util-linux 2.40.2
[/sbin/fsck.ext4 (1) -- /dev/mapper/ssd-usr] fsck.ext4 -a -C0 /dev/mapper/ssd-usr
fsck.ext4: symbol lookup error: fsck.ext4: undefined symbol: ext2fs_list_backups
fsck exited with status code 127
done.
Failure: File system check of the /usr filesystem failed
The /usr filesystem on /dev/mapper/ssd-usr requries a manual check

rebooting wih 6.9 kernel works.

Hello. This looks like a problem with fsck.ext4 to me.

Does the problem go away if you regenerate the initrd of the kernel
which does not boot properly doing this?

dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-6.10.3-amd64

Thanks.
