Bug#1069244: Fixed - but still an open comment
Thankfully, I reinstalled the Boron release on my LAN server and was
able to get the nfs server running properly. I have worked around the
flaw in the system.
My though remains intact, i.e. Debian news should be fixed at least to
the point that when reported that NFS versions are not matching, the
version numbers of both the client and server should be identified.
One addition thought for the NFS developers: When NFS version 4 becomes
available, I would expect that servers running NFS ver4 would server
both NFS 3 and NFS 4 clients.
