Bug#1061439: initramfs-tools-core: since zstd raid mapper not implemented in initramfs
Package: initramfs-tools-core
Version: 0.142
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: christianpeterkiss@yahoo.com
Dear Maintainer,
since change of compression of kernel initramfs 5.9 to zstd
#keypoint update-initramfs does not seem to include the correct raid mappers
any boot drops to a shell early on which lists
a dos ptuuid
sda as part of a raid
sdb as part of a raid
but
#keypoint not the mapper withe raid
not boot not root
this is a bug
i suspected itis
#keypoint because of change of bullseye to bookworm
but it doesnot seem to get fixed
cc i use a backedup initramfs of a former kernel but since bullseye there is no
upgraded bookworm or bullseye kernel bootable since
all the best
