... this architecture list seems rather random? Why not also add it to f.e. 
armhf, which itself is also a rather random not-previously-enabled-arch? 

(Explicitly) CC-ing debian-boot as there may be other factors I'm not aware of 
and/or other considerations to be taken into account.
