Dear Maintainer,

With two different USB sticks, "umount" and "sync" reproducibly trigger a
hung
task. The USB sticks are of different brands, and one is new. The first attempt produced the warning that is pasted just below. Long story short,
I
believe that this system cannot burn a USB stick. I cannot kill the
currently
running sync process and will have to again reboot.

And this is a regression from a previous kernel? I.e. from which one?
6.5.y series won't be updted anymore and we have 6.6.8-1 in unstable.
Is the problem reproducible there?

Regards,
Salvatore

The problem is not recurring in linux-image-6.6.8-amd64.

Thanks,
Alison Chaiken
