*firmware*, not drivers.
I reported
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1058991
last night. My GPU (GA107GLM) is affected, and the kernel is unusable.
You can see whether the kernel on your machine attempts to load
such a firmware with
journalctl -b -g 'firmware: failed to load'
(this is the command for the current boot).
