Bug#1055244: linux-image-amd64: Please enable CONFIG_MTK_T7XX for the Intel/Mediatek FM350-GL 5G modem

Source: linux
Version: linux/6.5.0-3
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-bugs@fhloston.org

Dear Maintainer,

please set CONFIG_MTK_T7XX=m to build the mtk_t7xx kernel module.

This module is necessary to use some 5G modems built into newer Lenovo Laptops like X1 Yoga Gen7/Gen8 and X1 Carbon Gen10/Gen11.

As long as this [1] patch is not merged upstream, it might be sensible to also include this.

The modem itself also needs some kind of FCC unlock which can be found here [2].

Thank you

Martin
