Dear Maintainer,

A patch in the kernel caused problems with the NVIDIA graphics cards
causing the frame buffer to be disabled and not to appear at boot under certain
circumstances. This issue appears on both my machines with dual GeForce 1050TI
graphics cards and the proprietary NVIDIA driver. Not having the frame buffer
also makes it very difficult to install said proprietary drivers on the debian
kernel (and other kernels), since they often crash the system when installing
with graphical.target.

Applying this patch from upstream fixes the issue:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=5ae3716cfdcd286268133867f67d0803847acefc

Once the patch applied then the framebuffer works fine again on boot,
both Linux machines with dual NVIDIA GeForce 1050TI cards tested.

Please can you backport this fix to the Debian Kernel? Thank you.

If you need me to test it please let me know :-)
