Debian Sid installed on an EFI system (with separate unencrypted ext4 /boot and encrypted XFS /root)
-- How to reproduce:
Upgrade kernel from 6.3 to 6.4 and reboot
-- Expected behaviour:
System boots as normal (Plymouth shows password prompt for encrypted /root)
-- Actual behaviour:
GRUB2 shows system loading initrd (as normal)
Blank screen with blinking cursor (not normal)
No password prompt for encrypted XFS /root
