Dear Maintainer,

* What led up to the situation?
I try to install a kernel module by Lookingglass project called kvmfr
on Debian 12 RC1

* What exactly did you do
just "cd" to the src dir and run "make"

* What was the outcome of this action?
dkms complain "include/generated/autoconf.h" is missing, and I can't
find the file in "/usr/src/linux-headers-6.1.0-7-amd64/include/generated"

* What outcome did you expect instead?
dkms success , or at least i have a "autoconf.h"

I cannot confirm this:

# ls -l /usr/src/linux-headers-6.1.0-7-amd64/include/generated/autoconf.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 234284 Apr 8 17:36 /usr/src/linux-headers-6.1.0-7-amd64/include/generated/autoconf.h
# dpkg -S /usr/src/linux-headers-6.1.0-7-amd64/include/generated/autoconf.h
linux-headers-6.1.0-7-amd64: /usr/src/linux-headers-6.1.0-7-amd64/include/generated/autoconf.h

Can you check your linux-headers-6.1.0-7-amd64 are correctly
installed.

Closing the bug for now, please reopen if you can reproduce it
accordinly afterwards.

Regards,
Salvatore
