Bug#1033674: unblock: linux/6.1.20-1
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock

Control: affects -1 + src:linux
Hi release team,
Please unblock package linux
The last update of src:linux did import stable versions from 6.1.16 up
to 6.1.20:
https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2023/03/msg00500.html
The update did include some CVE fixes, as listed there CVE-2023-1032,
CVE-2023-1076, CVE-2023-1077, CVE-2023-1079, CVE-2023-1118,
CVE-2023-25012 and CVE-2023-28466. #1022126 was addressed upstream.
The packaging changes were to mainly add hardare support further and
bugfixes, I will not replicate the entries here again.
The update is in unstable for 10 days. Given there should be a d-i
release soon, it would benefit from beeing built with 6.1.20-1.
Two issues are explicitly mentioned by Cyril, but they do affect as
well already the previous version in testing, so are no new
regressions: #1033301 for the amr64 kernel size increase; #1033058 an
issue in the reported for the installation for ppc6el in graphical
mode triggered by a kernel change 6.1.12.
Thus please unblock the current version to testing (and age it
accordingly).
unblock linux/6.1.20-1
Regards,
Salvatore
