Package: src:linux
Version: 5.5.13-2
Severity: important

I get artifacts on screen when using xpdf or Firefox. I took a photo
for the first one; see attached file. This may be related to the
upgrade to the 5.5.13-2 kernel yesterday, as this problem never
occurred before, IIRC.

The /var/log/Xorg.0.log file shows:

[ 87176.832] -2
[ 87395.578] -2
[ 89516.074] -2
[ 89582.929] -2
[ 89983.354] nouveau_exa_upload_to_screen:380 - falling back to memcpy ignores tiling
[ 90117.281] -2
[ 90976.294] nouveau_exa_upload_to_screen:380 - falling back to memcpy ignores tiling

The "nouveau_exa_upload_to_screen:380 - falling back to memcpy ignores tiling"
lines occurred at the same time of the artifacts on screen.
