The Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus SSD is attached to the mainboard's M.2 connector.

1.) Install Debian Buster using the graphical expert installer.
2.) Partitioning of the SSD seemed to work
3.) The step where the base system packages are installed failed.

=> Installation failed.

Debian Buster does not seem to support Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus SSD, at least
not with the MSI Z390 A-Pro and I7 9700K processor. I had to replace the SSD
with an older model attached to a SATA connector.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
