Package: amdgpu
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

-- System Information:
Debian Release: bullseye/sid
  APT prefers testing
APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable')
Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)

Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores)
Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en (charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash
Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
LSM: AppArmor: enabled

This happens when you install debian either buster or bullseye on a laptop having a
AMD graphics card. There are no kernal options in the grub file. Th problem is
randomly screen goes all back and then recovers after a minute. This happens
randomly leaving no use of the laptop

Turning the option to disable tablet mode fixes this issue. To do this click on th
top right hand arrow of the screen and clck on the crooked rectangle next to
spanner and screwdriver logo.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
