Package: linux-headers-4.15.0-3-amd64 Version: 4.15.17-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, since the upgrade to kernel 4.15 (and including 4.16), the system does not boot anymore. Instead, most of the time, it hangs after showing [ OK ] Started User Manager for UID 119. This hang seems to not end (I have waited >30sec) and I have to reset the machine. Other times the kernel continues to boot but it freezes after login (gray screen). Boot using kernel 4.14 works properly. Hi This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself without resolution. If you can reproduce it with - the current version in unstable/testing - the latest kernel from backports please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control for details. Regards, Salvatore
