Package: src:linux Version: 5.18.5-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: jobbautista9@protonmail.com This issue first appeared in linux-image-5.18.0-1-amd64, when I upgraded from linux-image-5.17.0-1-amd64. My SD card cannot be detected for some reason. lsblk doesn't show any mmcblk devices, which is strange, and dmesg doesn't show any log showing any error in the card reader either. When I downgraded the kernel back to 5.17, the issue disappears and I can use my SD card normally. I now have to use a USB card reader to access my SD. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 5.18.0-2-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc-11 (Debian 11.3.0-3) 11.3.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.38.50.20220615) #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 5.18.5-1 (2022-06-16) ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-5.18.0-2-amd64 root=UUID=3987681c-5e8b-4f00-b0c5-eb880382aec0 ro quiet pci=nomsi ** Tainted: WI (2560) * kernel issued warning * workaround for bug in platform firmware applied ** Model information sys_vendor: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. product_name: X441UA product_version: 1.0 chassis_vendor: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. chassis_version: 1.0 bios_vendor: American Megatrends Inc. bios_version: X441UA.305 board_vendor: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. board_name: X441UA board_version: 1.0 ** Loaded modules: qrtr ccm algif_aead des_generic libdes ecb md4 cmac algif_hash algif_skcipher af_alg bnep binfmt_misc pkcs8_key_parser parport_pc ppdev lp parport bfq nls_ascii nls_cp437 vfat fat dm_crypt dm_mod btusb btrtl x86_pkg_temp_thermal btbcm intel_powerclamp coretemp btintel snd_hda_codec_hdmi snd_soc_skl btmtk kvm_intel bluetooth snd_soc_hdac_hda snd_hda_ext_core kvm snd_soc_sst_ipc snd_soc_sst_dsp irqbypass jitterentropy_rng snd_hda_codec_realtek snd_soc_acpi_intel_match snd_soc_acpi snd_hda_codec_generic crc32_pclmul ledtrig_audio snd_soc_core rtl8821ae ghash_clmulni_intel sha512_ssse3 sha512_generic snd_compress snd_hda_intel btcoexist snd_intel_dspcfg sr_mod snd_intel_sdw_acpi cdrom snd_hda_codec rtl_pci asus_nb_wmi snd_hda_core iTCO_wdt asus_wmi intel_pmc_bxt rtlwifi iTCO_vendor_support aesni_intel uvcvideo videobuf2_vmalloc snd_hwdep platform_profile videobuf2_memops crypto_simd watchdog mei_hdcp hid_multitouch intel_rapl_msr sparse_keymap cryptd rapl mac80211 intel_cstate snd_pcm ctr intel_uncore videobuf2_v4l2 snd_timer libarc4 pcspkr ahci videobuf2_common snd drbg r8169 i2c_i801 realtek libahci cfg80211 efi_pstore soundcore i2c_smbus ansi_cprng videodev mdio_devres mei_me processor_thermal_device_pci_legacy ecdh_generic libata libphy sg rfkill mei ecc mc processor_thermal_device rtsx_usb processor_thermal_rfim intel_lpss_pci processor_thermal_mbox joydev intel_lpss processor_thermal_rapl intel_xhci_usb_role_switch idma64 roles intel_rapl_common intel_pch_thermal intel_soc_dts_iosf wmi i2c_hid_acpi int3403_thermal i2c_hid int340x_thermal_zone battery intel_pmc_core int3400_thermal asus_wireless acpi_thermal_rel acpi_pad button ac efivarfs ext4 crc16 mbcache jbd2 crc32c_generic sd_mod t10_pi crc64_rocksoft crc64 crc_t10dif crct10dif_generic uas usb_storage scsi_mod scsi_common hid_generic usbhid hid i915 i2c_algo_bit drm_buddy drm_dp_helper drm_kms_helper cec rc_core ttm xhci_pci xhci_hcd drm crct10dif_pclmul usbcore crct10dif_common crc32c_intel evdev serio_raw usb_common video ** PCI devices: 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v5/E3-1500 v5/6th Gen Core Processor Host Bridge/DRAM Registers [8086:1904] (rev 08) Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
