Bug#1008972: firmware-iwlwifi: iwlwifi reports errors while shutdown computer
Package: firmware-iwlwifi
Version: 20210315-3
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: voiwappla@gmx.at
Dear Maintainer,
after updating my system to bullseye, I mostly always get a lot of errors when shuting down the computer (if I was logged in into a wireless network). Things like:
[ 536.451518] iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: Error sending REPLY_SCAN_ABORT_CMD: time out after 2000ms.
[ 536.451668] iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: Current CMD queue read_ptr 28 write_ptr 29
[ 536.699549] iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: Loaded firmware version: 18.168.6.1 6000g2a-6.ucode
# lots of lines then like:
[ 536.699834] iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: 0x00000000 | interruptlink1
# with interruptlink2, time gp1, time gp2, wait_event...
followed by:
Start IWL Event Log Dump: nothing in log
Command REPLY_RXON failed: FW Error
Error clearing ASSOC_MSK on BSS (-5)
This goes over two screens and takes about 5-10 seconds, then computer shuts down.
I did not try any solutions, because it only affects the shutdown behavior.
