It was concluded that this is a kernel bug. See also https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/CAHk-=wim6VGnxQmjfK_tDg6fbHYKL4EFkmnTjVr9QnRqjDBAeA@mail.gmail.com/and should be addressed in the kernel by only issuing this warning once per mount, but not on a remount.
