Thanks for tracking it down, indeed this is 67f74302f45d
("drm/nouveau: wait for the exclusive fence after the shared ones v2")
in 5.16-rc8 and which is backported as 2ee1296e0655 in 5.15.13.

Adjusting the metadata and closing it already with 5.16~rc8-1~exp1.

Another 5.15.y upload is currently in the works.
