Package: nfs-kernel-server Version: 1:1.3.4-6 I would like to reduce nfsv4gracetime and nfsv4leasetime from 90 sec to something reasonable. Looking through several scripts and systemd config files I figured out that I have to set RPCNFSDOPTS in /etc/default/nfs-server.conf to make a helper script (called by a systemd service) generate another config file in /run setting a variable RPCNFSDARGS which is then read by the nfs-kernel service to construct the rpc.nfsd command line. I am quite sure that this construct is not "Debian quality". Could you please cleanup this mess for bookworm and improve the documentation? Thank you very much Harri

We highly would appreciate if this version is tested, before we move it to unstable, and make it ready for bookworm. If you think the nfs.conf(5) manpage needs any further improvements, can you submit those to upstream? We want in future to as less as possible diverge in the nfs-utils package from upstream, which was as well part of the cause we lacked behind upstream. In experimental we now are on track again with upstream, but are not yet ready to move the version into unstable/testing. Regards, Salvatore
