Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.57-3+deb7u1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

modules "usbip-core.ko" and "usbip-host.ko" (and possibly other
usbip-related modules) are missing from the Debian kernel. As "usbip"
itself is offered as a package, I believe the modules should be present.

I suspect the modules' absence is due to the following line, extracted
from /boot/config-3.2.0-4-kirkwood:

> # CONFIG_USBIP_CORE is not set

* What led up to the situation?

$ apt-get install usbip
$ sudo usbipd -D
usbipd: error: please load usbip-core.ko and usbip-host.ko!
$ sudo modprobe usbip-core
FATAL: Module usbip-core not found.

* What outcome did you expect instead?

I expected the module(s) to load and, subsequently, usbip to work.
