Bug#943370: linux: Regression in testing kernel
Source: linux
Followup-For: Bug #943370
X-Debbugs-Cc: omarpurataf@gmail.com
Also latest kernel update in Debian testing (5.10.26-1) proved to have some regressions
with these elantech touchpads. When it stops working dmesg reports "IRQ triggeres but there's not data"
also trying to restart or reload the device using modprobe doesn't work.
Kernel reports:
i2c_hid i2c-ELAN2204:00: failed to reset device.
i2c_hid i2c-ELAN2204:00: can't hid device: -61
i2c_hid: probe of i2c.ELAN2204:00 failed with error -61
Haven't found anything of use in the kernel bugzilla, id be happy to test patches if the
maintainer needs help with this issue :)
