Dear Maintainer,

   * sleep/suspend/hibernate/RESUME code was backported from testing
	  branch to the stable branch
   * maybe this particular function is not very widely used and tested in the
     cloud and virtual context
   * I wrote to debian on the issue already yesterday:

I have checked the current bpo-version of the kernel, both on the desktop and

Resuming from hibernation or suspension is now fully workable again, and the
overall-impression of 5-series kernel is positive, does well on the desktop!

But if your computers earn your living, i.e. you are an IT-professional, or
you depend on computers professionally, please consider to buy
premium-brand products from Apple, these are by definition the most advanced,
least buggy and least cheap-shot information-technology tools, money can buy
these days, and they are based on real UNIX!
Spare yourself the hassle, nearly pointless to tell, that they are essentially
open-source software products, too! So go premium, when you can afford it,
unfortunately I can not.
