Hello. I cannot get wifi networks or connection on kernels over 4.9.0.6. Up to this kernel the connection works perfect.  I just have to add the "options ant_sel=1" to /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf. I am using the one in the Sid repository but I have the same results with the ones in the stable and testing repos.

The real module involved in the problem must be /lib/modules/4.9.0-6-amd64/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtlwifi/rtl8723be/rtl8723be.ko

Even though it is working on this kernel, I cannot upgrade to any other because it will not work.

The modinfo of the driver is as follow:

sudo modinfo rtl8723be

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
